Q. What is online giving?
Online giving is the ability to give a donation or schedule a series of donations using your debit or credit card or your bank account. Our online giving system allows you to give through a safe and secure web interface.

Q. Do I pay additional fees to give online?
Nope. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. No costs or fees.

Q. Can I try out online giving by giving one time?
Sure! Select “One Time” from the drop down menu under the question: How often do you want to make this donation?

Q. What is “Automate the Important” all about?
The Bible talks about “first fruits.” Simply stated, if something is important, we should do it first. We do it with our savings, we do it with our monthly bills, and this applies to giving as well. We should desire to be generous as well as be wise, so in addition to saving automatically, we can choose to give automatically. When we automate our giving, we are being intentional about being generous. It’s a spiritual decision that will help us grow in faith.

Q. How does it Work?
With Automate the Important:
•You control HOW you give and WHEN you give.
•You can make changes or cancel any time.
•Your identity and information are safe.
•Christ Fellowship has no access to your bank account or other sensitive information.

Try it for a short time. You don’t have to make a life-long commitment to recurring, digital giving. Just try it for a few months. You can change your giving profile at any time.

Q. What if I want to change my automated giving or stop it?
It’s easy and you are in control! Just login to your online profile and go to the Transactions sections. From here, select “Recurring Transactions” from the drop down menu and edit your automated giving. You can change the amount, change the schedule, or even stop it. Also, feel free to contact our Finance Team and we can do it for you.

Q. What if I need to update my giving information?
You can login to your profile and update your personal or billing information anytime! Also, feel free to contact our Finance Team and we can do it for you.

Q. When is the automatic contribution charged to my account?
You choose the start date, end date, and frequency. If you do not choose a start date, the contribution will be charged to your account that day. If you do not choose an end date, the recurring schedule will continue until you change it. Contributions scheduled on Friday through Sunday may not show up on your bank account or statement until early the following week

Q. Will my contributions be reflected on my annual giving statement?
Yes! All of your contributions given with your name on them will be reflected on your giving statement. In addition, you can view your online giving record in the Transactions sections of your online profile.

Q. Can I set up automated giving for my tithe as well as special offerings?
Yes! You can do this all in one transaction or set up them up separately.

Q. How can I participate in Automating the Important if my income varies from pay period to pay period?
Depending on which is more feasible for your situation, you can handle tithing with a fluctuating income in a couple of different ways. Some people choose to give exactly one tenth of their earnings for each individual pay period. Others estimate their total earnings for the year and give a portion of the total tithe each week or month throughout the year.
