START SOMETHING GOOD PROJECT

Here are some of the impacting events this offering will help underwrite:

  • Outreach to the 250 plus children and families each week attending the city sports camp we’re co-hosting with the city of Tampa in our gym.
  • Adventure Weekends for children (thru fifth grade)
  • Student Camp (Grades 6-12)
  • Kids Day Camp (children through fifth grade)
  • A new building sign for The Lawn at Christ Fellowship (Sligh Ave entrance)
  • Beach Baptism Celebrations
  • Air Condition Replacement/and or Repairs

First, we all need to bring God the first 10% of our income
each time we’re paid. Bringing the tithe, is the beginning place!

Malachi 3:10 “‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.’”

Second, we want to encourage everyone to give a sacrificial offering to the Start Something Good project on or before, Sunday, June 14th.

II Corinthians 8: “Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity..they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service.

See it? Because of their love for the Lord, they pleaded for the opportunity to give sacrificially out of “their extreme poverty!” Of course God blessed them! Pray about what God would have you give. You may be surprised what God has you to give and how He provides it!!

Bringing back the tithe each time we’re paid and giving sacrificially above the tithe takes faith. I’m so excited about all God is going to do these upcoming weeks and months because of your faith and generosity.
